Kinky Talks: talking about HIV (not ‘just a gay thing’)

Sexuality

Kinky Talks # 27

Answer:
It is important to talk about STDs and not think of HIV as ‘just a gay thing’. I do think that the information from Kinky Talk #27 is important for every kinkster, male and female alike.

In this talk we had several HIV+ guests that talked openly and shared tips. Like:

Psychotherapy

On World AIDS day 2021 we thought it was important to discuss not so much a sexy subject, but a sex subject. In this talk, we had BentleyvanWoofs, Ivo and Stanley from NoMoreC (nomorec.nl), Stephan (Mr Leather 2020/21) and Tio (Mr Leather 2022).
We did hear their personal stories but what’s more, we did talk sensibly about prophylactic medication, the importance of being tested regularly, aspects of treatment. About the realistic aspects of sex. About information that sets you free and that wipes away prejudice and stigma.

A Kink Aware and openminded (relationship) coach. That does not mean you have to talk about kink, but at least here you don't have to be silent about it.
